I agree with what he said,however there are aspects that require you to use technology. Like meeting a friend across the country or even protecting yourself from harm. We do over use the easy to access technology, but it will take a lot more then a small machine for there to be no social ablility. We are all humans and we crave emotions but some can show to other where others show online. Yes we abuse technology but not all aspects are bad.

What is a 'splash page'? Look it up.they are andthey are used. Find an example of a splash page in Google Images. Save the image to you computer and then upload it to your blog post.A splash Page/Screen is the loading screen in a program, website or game. It takes up the entire screen or a large rectangular image while blurring out the website in the background. Or it is the screen before you get to the home screen and is still used for loading . It is there to make the loading of the website more interesting then just not being able to see the website and causing you to click away.

Status update! Tell me where  you are at on your product website? Can you be finished by tomorrow at the end of the hour? Do you need more time? How much more time? Be honest and explain yourself.

I am still on characters; noted that this is the longest part of the website. I would never be able to be done by tomorrow I may be able to finish after the blockday, but I have been looking for stuff out side of school to try and use my time to the best. There were some days that I could have done more but it should not have been enough to but me behind this much.

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Tell me all about it. You've been out of school for 10 days so I know you will have plenty to share. Make it good!

I went to Disney World and then to Siesta Key. I had a lot of fun and I got a nice tan. I have never been to Disney World before so it was cool to see all my favorite characters from when i was a kid. In Siesta Keys I tried to Skim board and I fell on a broken shell and cut up my knee. Over all I had a fun time in Florida with my family.

Do you like the layout of this project? Have you benefited from your brainstorming sheet? Was it more helpful or annoying when starting to map out your website? Explain why.

The layout of the project was fine, however it was a tad annoying having to layout everything right then and there. Over the time that I started to outline the website I was making changes all the time. It was good to give myself a time to think of what an effective website was. I would do it again just only to change the speed of finalizing each part of the website.

I have everything caught up except for the footer of my website. I create small due dates for my self so that I don't fell over whelmed. I don't generally get behind on things but when I do I will be back on track the next day. Small checkpoints work for me and I will continue to use it all of my life.

There are a lot of My Little Pony websites that give brief information about the show. However I will be adding more then most websites and the color scheme will not be a common one. I will go into depth about things that most people overlook. Though I am not that different I will make a Website that is worthy of being the best.

I have chosen to do the Product and TV show, My Little Pony. I have decided to do this because the show has a lot of products and is easy to break apart. I have a god knowledge of the show and I under stand the topic more then just the surface information. The My Little Pony franchise has lots of products as well.

What are three things you learned about color theory and web design yesterday? Go in to detail.

I learned tat there are six types of color stiles. mono one color, complement two colors, triad three colors, tetrad four colors, analogic three close colors, accented analogic three close colors and one off color. I also learned that the most common color blindness is just not able to see the difference between red and green. And it is also ok to have a white background.

A color scheme can make a viewer more interested in your website then just a wight one. However if you use colors that don't work together or there are to many color the viewer will become confused and leave you website. If your website is popular that color scheme might become associated with your website. Color adds personality to a website and drawls attention to your sight rather then a plane website.

What did you learn about file types as you created and designed your travel website? What are some other kinds of file types you know of? What do these different files do? Explain.

PNG's are used to finalize pictures that were created in Photoshop for Dreamweaver. I also know that Jpeg's are  for pictures. I don't know much after that, I get files but I never looked at the different kinds too much. I know that only some file types will work in some programs and that you need to convert file types to use in programs.

What was your takeaway from this Travel Site? What did you learn that you didn't know before? How will the knowledge of how we built this site help you improve your future websites?

I did not know how to create a website that moved with out needing to click on anything. I also learned more about things that I can go do in other countries that I want to visit. Websites that I make later will be easier to navigate around and will grab more peoples attention with movement.

How can Photoshop be a valuable tool in web design? Explain.

Photoshop allows someone to create something that is there own. This could save time while tiring to find an image for a website. If an image does not fit correctly on its own Photoshop can help fix what ever problem there is. Though Photoshop is not necessary it is a handy tool to have when needed.

I love the idea of Photoshop. Thought I did take a class on it, I don't remember how to do everything. I have worked wit it and I think that my favorite part is taking a photo and recoloring it. Though it takes time to make things perfect, I love what the out come is when you do something ridicules to two photos. I do have a background with Photoshop but I need to brush up on my skills.

A website must be simple, creative and memorable. website only works when people understand what they are looking at and ways that they can get back to where they came from. An effective website will not have people question were things are or how to get to them. There needs to be a layout that makes scene and is easy to view. The functionality of a website is very important if people will stay or just give up and leave.

My topics for my website are Hobbies, Family/ Friends, Dreams, and Random Facts. I choose these topics because I believe that these are interesting factors in my life. I don't have common hobbies or normal dreams. I hope to make my website different by adding personal touches and to add images that represent me and what I do. I think that I will will have a collages of family events and the same with friends.

What are your thoughts on HTML code? Did you enjoy the coding activity? Do you feel like you learned anything? Explain yourself.

 I think that HTML coding is interesting, but it is tricky. If you mess up one thing then you have to go through all that you have done to see where you went wrong. So as a website gets bigger the harder it will be to find the mistakes in the HTML coding. I do love learning about what goes into a website and being able to do one myself. I have done nothing with creating a website before so learning HTML has been an experience, but i do enjoy a challenge.

Tell me about your three day weekend. How was it? What did you do? Elaborate!

Over the weekend I did almost nothing. I stayed at home and watched YouTube videos with my sister Brandi. The one time that i did something was on Monday. Monday was my first day as being part of the technical crew. We did not do much on the technical side, but we did have to clean everything from older plays. It was ok until we had so start moving things around to placed that were not real. When we did find a spot we put about 50 cardboard art thing against a wall. but later that day they all fell down and we had to redo them. It was fine until someone put more of them in there and the all fell again. I had to find a new spot for them and put them there. It was a very frustrating day but i will have to get use to it, technical crew is just getting started.

 I believe that not all pictures are 'free game'. Most pictures that are on the internet are made by people and they are sharing there talents on the internet. If some of my art work was just taken and someone said that it was theirs and got payed or was given an award for it, I would be very upset.

What do you know about plagiarism? What do you know about plagiarism on the internet? How do web design, the internet ad plagiarism all effect each other? Explain.

Plagiarism is when some one takes another persons work and clam it as there own. On the internet you can not tell who has done what work. So plagiarism is  very common on the internet. People will plagiarize on essays, websites, story's, blue print ideas and many more things. If people that do web design plagiarize it will hurt them because if there is another website that looks exactly like theirs they might be fired, or there websites might just look like an average website.

What do you already know about web design? How it works? Programs you can use? Tools that exist? Anything.

Behind each website there are codes, none if which I understand or can do myself. However some sites that will help me learn are Godaddy.com and Blogger.com. Though I may not know much about the programing that goes into a website I do know what makes an effective one. It has to be organized and it must be easy to use. That includes short cuts to other sites, a way of contacting u if something seems to have gone wrong. To have a effective website it has to be memorable. It has to be original so that people will come back to see that interesting website again. I may not know much about the coding for website but I know what and effective one looks like.
